Away from business John has a lovely wife, 3 wonderful children, Caitlin, Florence and Albert. MX and football are his passion travelling the world to compete and spectate in both making many friends along the way.... Emma Parmenter
Accounts Manager
Emma has been with the company since it’s take over from previous owners, but on a part-time basis, mainly doing the accounts and the odd hire, along with working with a logistics company in Barking. In July 2016, she took the leap to enter into the family business on a full time basis, as all of her children are now at school full time and the fur baby is a permanent feature in the office. Emma is keen to move the business forward, utilising our customer service as a strength, ensuring our team are as friendly and flexible as possible to our customer’s needs.
Outside of work when the family’s calendar permits, Emma enjoys getting out and walking the woof, the odd sneaky Spa day, and on a more adventurous note has taken part in a Charity Parachute Jump, completed in Tough Mudder in 2013, Nuclear Fall out in 2015 and is due to compete in the Colour Obstacle Rush this year. So had better make some time for the gym!
Sue Simpson
Fleet Manager
Sue has been with company since early 2012 not far from the beginning and has witnessed old vehicles leave and new ones arrive.
She chose to move across when Harris Hire changed to new ownership and with plenty of knowledge to offer and her expertise in the fields she has worked alongside John and Emma to make our hire process a smooth and stress free customer experience and is now witness to our growing fleet (and love for our office fur baby!)
Outside of work, Sue has a wonderful husband, two beautiful children and a pooch.
At weekends she would admit to being one of those mums yelling (encouragement!!) from the side line of the football pitch.
Her passions are spending time with her friends and family and her obsession is boots!

With a passion of everything constructed with four wheels and a professional approach, Paul takes care of our media and marketing. You might meet Paul in the office or you might be lucky and miss him completely !!!
His professional buzz lies with motivating people to learn and teach in a manner that is relevant, expressive and memorable. he really cares about what he does, he has a huge passion for it, and he transfers that passion to the people he works with and who work for him. He gains a real sense of achievement from producing the right responses and developing the communication skills of the team. He effectively pushes staff to excel and reach their full potential by nurturing and developing hidden talents. He prides himself on leading by example and successfully managing staff expectations.
