Away from business, John has a lovely wife, 3 wonderful children, Caitlin, Florence and Albert. MX and football are his passion traveling the world to compete and spectate in both making many friends along the way.... So if you want to know who was 500cc World MX Champion in 1985 or where Mansfield Town FC play their home games and what their nickname is don’t be afraid to ask J. With this in mind, we hope Harris Hire can make many more friends along the way while delivering our passion for customer care!
Emma has been with the company since its take over from previous owners, but on a part-time basis, mainly doing the accounts and the odd hire, along with working with a logistics company in Barking. In July 2016, she took the leap to enter into the family business on a full-time basis, as all of her children are now at school full time and the fur baby is a permanent feature in the office. Emma is keen to move the business forward, utilising our customer service as a strength, ensuring our team are as friendly and flexible as possible to our customer’s needs.

Outside of work when the family’s calendar permits, Emma enjoys getting out and walking the woof, the odd sneaky Spa day, and on a more adventurous note has taken part in a Charity Parachute Jump, completed in Tough Mudder in 2013, Nuclear Fall out in 2015 and competed in the Colour Obstacle Rush. So had better make some time for the gym!
Sue has been with the company since early 2012 not far from the beginning and has witnessed old vehicles leave and new ones arrive. She chose to move across when Harris Hire changed to new ownership and with plenty of knowledge to offer and her expertise in the fields she has worked alongside John and Emma to make our hire process a smooth and stress-free customer experience and is now witness to our growing fleet (and love for our office fur baby!)

Outside of work, Sue has a wonderful husband, two beautiful children and a pooch. At weekends she would admit to being one of those mums yelling (encouragement!!) from the sideline of the football pitch.
Her passions are spending time with her friends and family and her obsession is boots!
DYLAN
CUSTOMER RELATIONS
Dylan joined the family in 2016 & fell directly into his new role in customer relations at the young age of 5 months old. With a passion for anything ball related & fun, Dylan instantly got to work in entertaining customers whilst Sue & Emma do the ‘boring bits’, usually supervising from his chair or a nearby desk.
Dylan’s favourite hobbies are long walks ANYWHERE! Woods, the beach, muddy fields are exceptionally fun. He also loves to cuddle up at the end of a hard day’s work for his well-earned fuss!
